FARGO, ND – Wednesday, August 19th the Fargo Force announced Tait Borst as the team's new Director of Scouting 

"I'm extremely excited to be a part of the Fargo Force," commented Borst. "I'd like to thank Management and Ownership for bringing me on. I can't wait to get to work and help push toward a Clark Cup." 

Tait has experience in hockey as a player, coach and scout. He worked as Head of North American Scouting for Recruit Scouting from 2021-2025. In 2024 he earned his first USHL position with the Cedar Rapids Roughriders, Borst was promoted to Assistant Director of Scouting there for the 2025-2026 season. He is currently serving as Assistant Coach for the Chicago Mission AAA Hockey Club and has prior experience as a D3 & High School hockey coach. 

With Tait joining the team as Director of Scouting, Hampus Sjodahl has been promoted to the Fargo Force's Assistant General Manager. Other changes in the Hockey Operations Department include Cary Eades from AGM to Senior Advisor, and Matty Oliver & Graden Quade as the team's Equipment Managers. 

"We are happy to add Tait to the organization to expand our ability to acquire the highest quality players possible," commented Skinner. "In addition, the promotion of Hampus is much earned and will expand his role which will allow him to grow professionally within our organization. Cary's title changes but he will still be a part of our collaborative approach, and his experience will remain invaluable to the organization."
