Bischel Headlines Former Fargo Force Players earning NCAA Post Season League Honors

Ryan Bischel capped a stellar season for the University of Notre Dame by being named the BIG 10's Goalie of the Year, in addition to earning All-Big 10 first team honors. The senior from Mediana, MN was also one of three finalists for the

Big 10 player of the year award. Bischel led the Big 10 in save % (.938), minutes played (1,443:18) and saves (831). Including all games played by the Irish, he led the nation in minutes played and saves, and was 2nd in save %.

Bischel played for the Force for 3 seasons, from 2016-19, and is Fargo's all-time leader in minutes played (5,576) and wins (49). He helped the Force win the Clark in 2018.

Another Former Force player winning an all-league award was Justin Lee, who was named the NCHC's top Defensive Defenseman of the Year. Lee, who hales from Manitoba, Canada, captained the Pioneers to the regular season championship in the NCHC this season, and was a key defender on Denver's NCAA Championship team last year.
