Do you have a nickname, how did you get it?
My one and only nickname is Vic. I had a bunch when I was younger but that’s it right now!
What is one of your unknown talents?
I’m a good dancer, when no one is watching.
Favorite sport to watch besides hockey?
I like to watch European Soccer and Football.
What is the most played song on your ipod?
“Beauty and a Beat” – Justin Bieber” or “Hall of Fame” – The Script
What is your least favorite household chore?
Doing the dishes for sure.
If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would it be?
I would say Christiano Ronaldo, soccer player for Real Madrid.
What is your favorite hockey memory?
Winning the Junior Swedish Championships.
What celebrity would play you in a movie?
Chris Hemsworth, because of the flow.
Besides the language barrier, what is the biggest challenge you have faced moving to the United States?
Being away from my family.
What food do you miss the most from Sweden?
Swedish meatballs with fresh potatoes and cream sauce.
Do you have any superstitions or pre-game rituals?
Just put my beats on and try to do the same warm-up every time. Always put my right skate on first and take a shower or go in the hot tub right when I get to the rink.
What was your favorite Christmas gift you have received?
Hockey gear as a kid.
What was the best advice you were ever given?
To go overseas to play hockey for the Force and then to College rather than staying in Sweden and playing juniors.
A different player spotlight will be selected for each home game. Line-Up cards featuring the player spotlight will be available for $2 at the game that night. Each player will be in the upper lobby following the game to sign autographs. Fans will also have the chance to bid in a blind silent auction on a replica jersey for each spotlight at the program stand up until the end of the second intermission of each game.
