Bryn Chyzyk Commits to UND

FARGO, ND –Fargo Force forward Bryn Chyzyk has committed to play college hockey at the University of North Dakota in the fall of 2012.

The first year forward from Virden, Manitoba has played in 37 games for the Force so far this season putting up 31 points with 20 goals and 11 assists. Chyzyk recently went on a six game point streak scoring 11 points in 6 games in January. His 20 goals are good enough for sixth in the USHL for goal scorers.

“Feels good to get the commitment out of the way and stay focused on the rest of the season here with Fargo”, said Chyzyk. “To grow up watching the Sioux play and have a dream come true to play for them, it’s pretty unbelievable.”

With Chyzyk’s commitment to UND, he becomes the third player in franchise history to commit there along with former forward Colten St. Clair and current goaltender Zane Gothberg. There are now eight players on the Fargo Force with Division 1 college commitments.
