Racobaldo Named 2012-13 Team Captain

The Fargo Force have selected the team captains for the 2012-13 season. Captains were voted on by the players and votes were tallied late last week by the coaching staff.

Defenseman Dominic Racobaldo has been named the team’s Captain. Racobaldo is in his second season with the Fargo Force and his third season in the USHL. He spent one season with the Omaha Lancers before joining Fargo at the start of last season. The Pennsauken, NJ native had 1 goal and 9 assists for a total of 10 points in the 2011-12 season.

Forward Nate Arentz, was selected as Assistant Captain coming in with the second highest total number of votes. The Lakeville, MN native is entering his third season with the Fargo Force.

Sharing the duties of the second Assistant Captain role coming in with the same number of votes are defensemen Justin Wade and Taylor Fleming. In this shared role, one player will wear the A on their jersey at home with the other player wearing the A on the road. Wade is in his third season with the team and is committed to the University of Notre Dame. Fleming in his second year with the team and has committed to the Air Force Academy.

The Fargo Force will head out on the road this weekend to face the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders on Oct. 5 and the Dubuque Fighting Saints on Oct.6.
